It is a pretty valuable knife but in fairly rough condition and i would like to have it mildly customized with a damascus blade to replace the one that's broken I'm in tualatin, but would be willing to travel an hour or more to find the right craftsman I have heard these knives called “jacobs ladder” knives They are overall fun to play with but imho mostly a toy

The #1 help to e came from frank jacobs (jakeknife) as much like bruce he would call it as he saw it and make you hold your work to a better/higher standard. It has been a huge blessing to me to have all these guys help little old me become a much better knife maker.and i try as i might to pay some of it forward to the new guys I've followed all of the directions and used the same.
